MiSS M18 Periodic Project Meeting

The MiSS mid-term meeting took place in snowy Claviere (Turin) from 21 to 23 January, bringing together around 20 physicists from Aalto University, INRiM – Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica, Institut Néel (CNRS), Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, Silent Waves, and Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK).

Reaching the halfway point of the project, it was a real pleasure to meet in person and engage in highly stimulating scientific discussions. The meeting also provided an opportunity to report on the important results achieved so far, which place the consortium in a strong position to successfully approach the second phase of the project. Two intense days were filled with high-level presentations, lively exchanges, and productive interactions among participants.

The Quantum Science Generation (QSG) workshop took place in Trento.

On 5-9 May 2025 the QSG workshop took place in Trento, involving MiSS partners both as co-organisers, invited speakers and participants.

The main goal of this event was to promote interdisciplinarity, by training a new generation of scientists with the ability to understand and exploit the different aspects of quantum sciences and technologies. The workshop covered a broad spectrum of topics, attracting international participants from diverse scientific backgrounds.

The MiSS project has kicked off!

The kick-off meeting took place in Trento at Fondazione Bruno Kessler on 3-4 July, bringing together 21 physicists from Aalto University, INRiM - Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica, Institut Néel CNRS,Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, Silent Waves and Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK).

It was truly great to meet in person and to have so inspiring scientific discussions! We had two intense days filled with high-level presentations, exciting conversations and genuine exchange.
